Bushbuck; Common Reedbuck & Nyala Hunting!
Kwa Zulu Natal, the home province of “THE BOX H” is also home to three of the most beautiful and sort after species by trophy hunters, yes we have magnificent specimens of these species on our concessions.
The Bushbuck with its sharply pointed spiral horns is a very worthy adversary for the walk and stalk hunter. He is a wily opponent with an acute in built warning system that makes harvesting a good ram a challenge of note. A challenge that Hilton finds irresistible! Join him waiting and watching for the next monster ram to materialise into the clearing!
Thick Bush with lots of trophy quality animals. We worked hard for a good trophy Bushbuck, amongst others. The accommodation & hospitality was great. A memorable experience. Many thanks
Hilton & Robyn.

The Nyala is the regal master of the Kwa Zulu Natal bushveld. With his flowing mane and beard, slate grey body, orange legs and the graceful curves of his ivory tipped horns, he is splendid indeed.
Join Hilton as he guides you through thick bush slowly closing the gap on a trophy bull. Pause in mid stride as the bulls head sways every now and again as he browses on a Buffalo thorn tree. Steady your rifle in the shooting sticks and let your cross hairs rest on the centre of his shoulder and squeeze!
Good Friends, Good Times, Great Nyala!!

Now travel to the high-veld grasslands of the KZN Midlands, here you will meet the elegant Common Reedbuck. By far the largest of the Redunca family. By the way the biggest specimens harvested have all come from the KZN Midlands.
Carefully glass the hillsides and vleis in the late afternoon, as the shadows take on extra length, that magical time in Africa. All of a sudden, where there was just grass a moment ago a doe and thick necked ram have just stood up!
….Just as I thought that the safari was finished we were blessed with a great Common Reedbuck ram! I am very happy with the service, professionalism and hunting techniques on this safari.
